The Elite School of Plastering and Construction Skills has been specifically set up to help you learn your chosen construction skill in a professional and friendly environment. The Instruction is carried out by City and Guilds qualified craftsmen with an excess of 30 years of practical experience between them.
If you want to learn a new skill and begin a new career or develop your skills in plastering, tiling or bricklaying, come and train with The Elite School of Plastering. It will excite you, challenge you and take you out of your routine. You will return home, with renewed clarity and energy for your career or DIY project. Our flexible, person centred approach focuses on your individual needs, whether you are new to the construction industry, or whether you wish to increase your skills.
Weekday Courses
Weekday courses start every Monday and run through until Thursday from the hours of 9.30am until 3.30 - 4.00pm approx.
Weekend Courses
The Elite School of Plastering recognise that not everyone can take time out during the week to learn a construction skill so we also run weekend courses in plastering. The weekend courses allow you to attend on Saturday and Sunday 9.30am until 3.30 - 4.00pm approx on two consecutive weekends. This will avoid loss of earnings and disruption to your working week.
The Fees
4 Day Weekday Plastering Course is £275.00 (£75.00 deposit)
4 Day Weekend Plastering Course is £295.00 (£75.00 deposit)
2 Day Weekend Pure Skimming Course is £195.00 (75.00 deposit)
8 Day Plastering Course is £525.00 (£125.00 deposit)
4 Day Weekday Tiling Course is £375.00 (£125.00 deposit)
4 Day Weekday Bricklaying Course is £375.00 (£125.00 deposit)
The Courses
Anyone who’s serious about starting a course in tiling, plastering, or bricklaying immediately faces a steep learning curve. But, if you want to “shortcut” the process (and cut down on the months, even years of trial and error that most people face) The Elite school of Plastering is the ideal starting place.
The courses we hold are very much hands on, with tools and equipment initially explained and demonstrated by instructors. The courses are all practical and as a result you will get dirty! So you should bring with you some appropriate clothing. We will supply all the tools, materials and safety equipment you will be using while you are here. we also require all students to wear protective footwear i.e. boots you don't mind getting dirty.
Our courses are extremely popular and sought after so we recommend all participants book their course as early as possible to avoid disappointment as availability changes daily. After you have trained with us we would be happy for you to contact the centre at anytime either by phone or email should you need advice on any work you are attempting.
At the end of the course you will receive The Elite School of Plastering Certificate of Completion, the tools used on the course, a reference DVD and a printed manual. We will also provide you with a portfolio of your work; this may assist you gaining employment at a later date.
Accommodation
For those of you that are travelling from outside the Greater Manchester area we can also provide accommodation from £20.00 per night. Please check for availability before you book your course as this service is very popular and we only have limited spaces.

You may be eligible for funding and to help towards the payment of our courses depending on your personal circumstances.
