When I came on board and signed up for the 8 day course, it was just like you say,James Johnson, http://www.abc.co.ukyour wife thinks your crazy for spending that kind of money on a dream.However, I already knew that the construction was great. I had pretty good limited success in the past with my Bricklaying and I just needed the meat instead of the milk that I had been trying to learn about for so long. Well TESOP, you definitely delivered! I went into the course with high hopes and expectations because of some of the other testimonies in the previous courses. They mentioned a lot of confidence and so forth. I was pretty sceptical about learning a new skill in so short a time. But, I could live with twice as much work. I actually said to my wife,If we can get twice as much work in the next few months, then keep growing it from there, you wouldn't have to go back to work in the Autumn.(background: my wife is a school teacher). Talk about pressure. In March 2007, just before the 8 day course started, you sent out an information pack to help me get my head around the tools and materials. I did that the day after I got the mail, so I had about 2 days in February reading up on the techniques in Bricklaying. Previously, November was our biggest month ever at over £1,100. That was a good month. However, March topped it at £1844. I couldn't help thinking that because of the Bricklaying course with TESOP, my wife won't have to work outside the house anymore. In the end, it came down to good knowledge put into practice and 2-3 months of hard work putting into practise the techniques learned on the course. Trevor and Mike have been great too. The whole experience has been taxing on the energy, but well worth it. I can't wait to tell you where I am in 6 months from now.

The CSCS courses are designed to give you a good understanding in all the main areas of CSCS. Our previous students vary in experience. Some have none whatsoever and some just need fine tuning. Wherever you are in your CSCS ability we will be looking to get you from the basics to a level where you can produce quality work for yourself or others. In order for you to take part in the courses you will need a reasonable grasp of DIY. You will be taken through the different stages every day of your course; we will also explain and demonstrate all the different tools and materials needed in CSCS. By the end of the course you will have a good understanding of CSCS techniques and will have a good base knowledge in which you can take forward and progress your CSCS ambitions either on a career path or as a DIY enthusiast.

Choose one of our Decorating, Kitchens & Carpentry Courses:The CSCS courses are all practical and as a result you will get dirty! So you should bring with you some appropriate clothing. We will supply all the tools and materials you will be using while you are here. Please wear protective footwear i.e. boots you don't mind getting dirty.
